Non-Profit Marketing & Events

As volunteer Events Director and Marketing Lead for Accessibility Renovations for Kids (ARK), a non-profit that renovates homes for children with mobility challenges, I managed event execution and communications. My work spanned event planning, writing, and sponsorship outreach.

Scope of Work

  • Planned and directed major fundraising events twice a year, in addition to smaller fundraisers and moderating a speaker series.

  • Managed sponsorship outreach, securing financial and in-kind support from community partners.

  • Designed marketing materials including posters and event promotions.

  • Created family feature stories to highlight the impact of completed renovations.

  • Directed the silent auction, overseeing item procurement, promotion, and event-night execution.
